Okay – I’ve been a fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali’s “night songs”. Though Nusrat’s popularity got prospered by this hamd but he certainly couldn’t hold a candle to Mr. Warsi. See it yourself.

New Year – (new) old me

Posted in Biopsy, Need Help by icommentary on January 1, 2009

Every new year we come closer to our end. Our age, race, height, colour and family are all predefined, but our morals, ethics, brain and how it actually works has been post-defined to us. This new year- I’ve made a pact to read the Quran for the first time. Exploring Quran has never been out of fashion.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately. Thinking about life in general; like my past life, future life, after life, before life, half life, double life, mid life and about my present life. During this process, I’d also realized what’s most amazing thing in life is. For me, the most amazing thing is life is the ability to laugh under sheer sadness. Trust me, if it hasn’t happened to you, it will happen one day and you’ll then realize it what I meant by it. Like, on a death of a close relative; some kid would randomly pass a funny comment or an aunty would (who is not even close to the person who is dead) cry more than the actual family. Ok, bad example. Basically you have to feel it to understand what I’m talking about and once you do it, you’ll realize I was right.

Now, moving on to what’s the most miserable thing in life is. I think it’s the feeling of sadness or crankiness when you are having fun. I’m sure we have all been to that stage and can recall it. Like you are on a vacation and something is irking you and the weirdest thing of all is that you won’t even know why you are annoyed at the first place. Ok, another bad example but I’m sure you got my point.

The most important things in life are free. Oxygen and Water; both are free. Humans can live without love, but they can’t live without oxygen or water. The antibodies in us, work for free too. And for humor loving people like me, the ability to laugh at ourselves at our own expense is free.

Neglect

Posted in Biopsy by icommentary on November 19, 2008

I’ve been neglecting this blog for a while, mainly due to plethora amount of fun and fair share of sadness. During the last quarter of this year, I’ve noticed that state of being happy and sad of an individual is very closely monitored by God and the weird thing is that we don’t really know how that formula works. There is an equal amount of happiness and sadness stored for all humans. So, in the end, it works out, it really does. I mean for those people who believe it works out at least it does work out for them.

God has made everybody different. Our likes and dislikes are different. Even in a close family of four; everybody would think, act, pretend, believe, and imagine things differently. The whole concept of being happy and sad is based on the timely needs of an individual. Whats’ happiness for one is sadness for the other and whats’ sadness for one is indeed happiness for the other. Hence a person can only truly analyze his own happiness and sadness level and can never do the same for others.

However, we think that aforementioned God’s formula is flawed as some people get a lot of happiness and some sadness. But in reality, there are some people who are generally content all the time, doesn’t matter how much sadness they receive, and there are some people who will always whine and be sad. Again, there is an equal amount of happiness and sadness stored for all humans.
